The challenge

Intelligent Labs sold high-quality supplements in a fiercely competitive Health & Household category, but at $114k in monthly sales the brand was being out-marketed. Listings led with ingredients rather than benefits, creative didn't communicate trust in a category where trust drives the sale, and advertising couldn't scale profitably against larger, louder competitors.

The numbers made the diagnosis obvious. Traffic was not the constraint — the account was already buying plenty of clicks at a 38% ACoS — but only 9.8% of those visitors bought. Every extra dollar of spend was pouring into a page that failed to convert, so scaling advertising simply scaled the loss. In a category where shoppers compare third-party testing, dosage and certifications before they buy, none of that evidence was visible above the fold.

Our approach

We focused on making the brand both more visible and more persuasive at the point of decision.

  • Creative content — rebuilt the main images, A+ content, and infographics to lead with benefits, certifications, and social proof, giving shoppers a reason to choose Intelligent Labs over cheaper alternatives.
  • PPC — scaled advertising against category and competitor terms, using the stronger creative to lift conversion so higher bids stayed profitable, and continuously pruned wasted spend.
  • Continuous testing — ran structured main-image and A+ experiments so every subsequent gain was measured rather than assumed.

How we worked

  1. 1

    Creative and conversion audit

We reviewed the full shopper journey — search result, main image, gallery, A+ and reviews — and mapped exactly where the 90% who didn't buy were dropping out.

  2. 2

    Main image and gallery rebuild

New hero images led with the benefit and the certification evidence, and the gallery was re-sequenced to answer objections in the order shoppers raise them.

  3. 3

    A+ content and brand story

A+ modules were rewritten around third-party testing, sourcing and dosage clarity, turning the brand's real quality advantage into something visible on the page.

  4. 4

Scaled PPC on the new creative

With conversion lifted, previously unprofitable category and competitor terms became affordable, so we expanded targeting and raised bids where the payback held.

  5. 5

    A/B testing cadence

A running experiment schedule on main images and A+ turned creative from a one-off project into a monthly source of compounding conversion gains.

The results

Monthly sales grew from $114k to $239k — a 110% increase — as improved conversion let advertising scale into terms that had previously been unprofitable. Conversion rate rose from 9.8% to 15.1% and ACoS fell from 38% to 26% despite higher spend.

Better creative didn't just win clicks; it changed the economics of every click the brand was already paying for, turning advertising into a repeatable, compounding sales engine.
