Rewriting claims that kept getting the listing pulled
Zero takedowns in 6 months
A nail and foot care brand had been suspended twice for claims its copy could not support. Rewriting for compliance turned out to improve conversion, not damage it.

The challenge
The brand's copy promised to treat a medical condition. That is a claim a cosmetic product cannot make, and Amazon enforced it twice — each suspension taking the hero listing down for between nine and seventeen days.
The cost was not just the lost sales. Each takedown reset the listing's ranking momentum, so the brand spent every recovery period buying back a position it had already paid for once. And because the team believed the aggressive claim was what sold the product, each rewrite restored the same language in slightly softer words, which set up the next suspension.
Our approach
We rebuilt the argument on what the product can honestly say.
- Claim-by-claim audit against category policy, with each unsupported statement replaced rather than reworded.
- Cosmetic benefit language — appearance, comfort, softness — which is both compliant and closer to what reviews actually praise.
- Evidence the shopper can see — close-up imagery of the cosmetic result and of how the product is used, which carries more conviction than a claim anyway.
- Keyword strategy that avoids the trap — ranking for the concern people search without stating a treatment outcome in the copy.
Inside the ad account

Anonymized account view, rebuilt from the figures reported above: ad sales growing from $30k to $53k a month while ACoS falls from 35% to 25% across the 6-month engagement.
The results
Six months with no takedowns, and revenue up 76% to $118k a month.
The surprise was conversion: it rose 29% on compliant copy, because the new language is specific and demonstrable where the old claim was a promise shoppers had learned to discount. The hero term climbed from #23 to #7, which is what happens when ranking momentum is allowed to accumulate for six uninterrupted months.
“We were sure the strong claim was doing the selling. Taking it out and watching conversion go up was humbling.”
