What Is Amazon A+ Content?

A+ Content is the section of an Amazon product detail page where brand owners replace the plain product description with images, comparison charts and formatted text modules; it requires Brand Registry.

You build A+ Content in the A+ Content Manager in Seller Central from a set of modules: banner images, image and text blocks, comparison tables and more. Amazon reviews each submission before it goes live. Basic A+ is open to brand owners in Brand Registry. Premium A+ adds larger interactive modules such as video, hotspots and carousels, with its own eligibility rules.

The Brand Story is a separate carousel above A+ on the page that presents the brand and links to other products.

Why it matters

Shoppers who scroll past the bullet points are often close to buying and looking for reassurance: size, materials, what is in the box, how this model compares to the others you sell. A+ answers that visually, and a comparison chart keeps shoppers inside your catalog. You can test versions against each other with Manage Your Experiments.

Common mistake

Repeating the bullet points in large type, or using text-heavy images that are unreadable on a phone. Text inside images is not indexed for search either, so keywords you need belong in the title, bullets and backend search terms. Our A+ Content guide covers module choices with examples.
